New Kitchen Chairs!

I bought 2 of these chairs from Ikea yesterday for $20 a pop
But black is not a color that shows up much in my apartment so I thought I'd do a little redo. And shazam! I turned them lime green.
I also ordered this awesome chevron patterned fabric from fabric.com (for only $6 a yard!) to make some cushions for my chairs and curtains for my closets. (As of right now they don't have anything covering them so you can see the mess of my closet)
My apartment is slowly coming together. Once I have it as I want it I'll post pictures. Inadvertently, my colors have ended up being like what's in the chevron fabric. I didn't plan it out like that but it has kind of just happened to end up this way. I have a turquoise thrift store desk, the kitchen table and my bedspread are navy blue, and my kitchen plates/bowls/teapots and now kitchen chairs are lime green. Navy blue, turquoise, and lime green. It sounds pretty bright but they actually mesh quite well together. Ironically, I've had these 3 colors since I started college. For my first college dorm I bought these paper lanterns to go in my room.
And now they are the color scheme for my first single apartment. Coincidence? Or Physic?

Inspiration, June 21st

I love the symmetry and the patterned wall paper.
Sorry for being M.I.A.
I went on a climbing trip, got strep throat and was out for a few days, and have been pretty busy working since then.
